Sometimes you won’t feel like doing a certain task . Afterall we are all humans , and we act a lot upon our hormones , so how we feel matters and everything around us also matters . Energy we carry or our surroundings, situations we are in and we have been in the past matters . Keeping all these emotions and situations at one side and still doing a task which requires to be done is discipline.

Discipline can be boring

What discipline means is that you have promised yourself you will do a certain task today , then it needs to be completed today only. Even if it doesn’t feel exciting at all . Doing same thing monotonously everyday can get boring , but if that is your current goal and it is necessary to do you need to finish on the same day that’s discipline.

What happens when a discipline is maintained

At it’s core discipline is the ability to control one’s impulses , emotions , desires and behaviour in pursuit of long term goals.

Discipline teaches responsibility and self respect. Behind every successful person lies a routine shaped by discipline. it helps you stay grounded in chaos manages your emotions , time and reactions aswell… you are better at facing obstacles , failure and hardships of life.

It is a skill which needs to be developed , starting with small steps… & practicing it daily ! Consistent actions overtime reshape your personality.

Athletes, spiritual leaders , political leaders , scholars, entrepreneurs, scientist , authors, and many more successful people to count on… all at different professions but one thing in common & that is discipline and consistency. These people have achieved great success .

Sometimes it will break you emotionally mentally but when kept going will only make you stronger ! So, donโ€™t stop keep going..!
